The Facilities at TYR

Below are the different facilities we offer here TYR. Feel free to look around. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Barn 1: Boarder’s Barn

Barn 1 is our primary boarder’s barn. This barn contains 50 10’ x 12’, 10 of which have a 15’ x 60’ fenced run connected to them. Barn 1 also has 3 wash bays and 3 grooming stalls. Two tack rooms, one on each end of the barn, with 12 personal lockers in each. Barn 1 has one office and one lounge, which are both heated and cooled. Boarder’s lounge contains a refrigerator, microwave, sink, bathrooms, and anything else you could ask for.

Barn 2: Personal Barn

Barn 2 is TYR’s personal barn. This barn is exactly same as Barn 1, except it only has one tack room 2 wash bays, and 2 grooming stalls. The extra room was incorporated into the lounge and office.

Barn 3: Stallion Barn

Barn 3 is the stallion barn. It is available for those stallions that need a little space from everyone else. This barn has 20 10’ x 12’ stalls, 10 of which have 15’ x 60’ fenced runs connected to them. This barn houses boarded horses as well as TYR horses. There is one tack room, 1 wash bay, 1 grooming stall, and 1 small lounge.

Barn 4: Breeding Barn

Barn 4 is our breeding barn used for foaling mares mainly. This barn has fifteen 15’ x 20’ stalls, one wash bay, 1 grooming stall, an office, and a brand new breeding lab with the newest technology available.

Barn 5: Events Barn

Barn 5 is our events barn. This barn houses any horses who need overnight stabling for events being held at TYR. This barn has 40 10’ x 10’ stalls, a eurosizer, 2 wash bay, and 3 grooming stalls. This barn has a covered walkway connecting it to our largest indoor arena, and just a short walk to our largest outdoor arena.

Barn 6: Racing Barn

Barn 6 houses our racing division at TYR. This barn contains 20 12’x12’ stalls, 10 of which are connected to a 15’60’ fenced run. There is one tack room, 1 wash bay, 1 grooming stall, an office, and 1 small lounge.

Indoor Arena 1

Indoor Arena 1 is the larger of our two indoor arenas. This arena is connected to your visitor’s barn by a covered walkway. This arena spans 150’ x 250’, has 10 rows of bleachers along the west side, houses our Events Office, has a large public lounge, is heated and cooled all year round, and has 2 restrooms. The floor can be configured into whatever dimensions are required for a specific event. This arena is used mainly for events held at TYR, as well as the occasional training sessions.

Indoor Arena 2

Indoor Arena 2 is our main training arena. It is heated in winter, and has large exhaust fans for summer. Its dimensions are 120’ x 220’, but can be configured to any size required. This arena has a large supply room that holds all training equipment.

Outdoor Arena 1

Outdoor Arena 1 is our main outdoor arena. Its dimensions are 150’ x 300’, is fully lighted, and has bleachers on both sides of the arena. This arena is used for our outdoor events held at TYR.

Training Arena

The training arena is 120’ x 250’. This arena is used for training lessons as well as warm-ups.

Race Track

TYR has on its grounds a 1 mile dirt race track. This track can be set up for whatever length of race you are having. Our track has bleachers on both the east and west sides, as well as a small building that houses concessions and restrooms.

Along with the above mentioned facilities, TYR also has available for use on its grounds one 60’ round pen, miles of trails to ride, 15 – 1 acre paddocks, 12 – 5 acre pastures, 5 – 10 acre pastures, and 4 small apartments available for staff or customer’s wishing to stay on the grounds.
