This contract is valid only for the above mentioned Mare and Stallion. The Mare may not be changed except through expressed written consent from Stallion Owner. If this contract is broken, all Stud fees will be deemed non-refundable to the Mare Owner.

Booking Fee:

A $100 non-refundable Booking Fee is to be paid by the Mare Owner to the Stallion Owner at the time of the signing of this contract.

Live Coverage:

The above mentioned Stud Fee is to be paid to the Stallion Owner by the Mare Owner at the time of service to the mare or included with this contract. This Stud Fee will only be returnable if the above stallion falls ill, dies, or is somehow otherwise deemed unbreedable prior to the date of service.

Frozen Semen:

The above mentioned Stud Fee plus a $100 shipping fee is to be paid to the Stallion Owner by the Mare Owner prior to shipping. These fees will only be deemed refundable if the Stallion Owner fails to comply with this contract.

Live Foal Guarantee:

The Mare Owner is guaranteed a live foal as a result of this breeding. If Mare fails to become pregnant, produces a stillborn foal, or produces a foal that fails to stand and nurse for 24 hours after birth, the Mare Owner is entitled to a breeding the following season at no cost. This guarantee is valid for 2 consecutive years after initial breeding. This guarantee will be deemed void if Mare fails to produce a live foal after 3 attempts.

Reclaiming Rights:

The Stallion Owner reserves the right to reclaim any foal that is neglected or if the Mare Owner leaves Riata. The Stallion Owner also requests the right to be notified if the Mare Owner decides to sell the foal at any given time, and to be allowed the option of purchasing the foal first.

Injury or Illness:

The Stallion Owner and the Mare Owner will each be responsible for any injury, illness, accident, disease, or death acquired by their respective horses through this service to the mare.

Aging:

The foal resulting from this breeding may not be aged without first notifying the Stallion Owner. The Stallion Owner reserves the right to deny the request that the foal be aged.
